Idol would trash those other two dingbats.

Technically Skynrd is a 60's and 70's band so the Cure wins by disqualification.

And, again, Zep is a 60's blues-rock band vs. Floyd which is a 70's Brit prog-rock band so the third match is a cancellation.

So the main event would be Idol vs. The Cure. I'm going to have to go with The Cure only because Idol was really only a sham. He had this hard punk-rocker image but most of his songs were about some loser who couldn't keep his woman satisfied. The Cure, on the other hand, were pure. No pretentions (other than their hair styles), just good 80's techno-rock. They were partly responsible for putting KROQ on the map.

I used to like them... not all of it... but a decent amount. Then I was okay with Orgy... they were fine.

Mike, your not old you just have good taste.

The Cure have a image that screams emo and their music....well i can't remember anything by them so i'm sure i hate them. J/k I have no ability to say either way on that one except that Skynrd rocks so he would win. Billy Idol was a given in that match (I mean the guy can light a piano on fire...figuratively speaking of course) and I want to say Pink Floyd because I like them better but Zepplin can rock a mean guitar. As for mike's line up....I'm going with Iron Maiden for the win.
