Man, all this talk about old-skool wrastlin' is bringing back a few things. Like Sgt. Slaughter and his one move the Cobra Clutch vs. Iron Sheik. Or the Bolsheviks and that crazy USSR anthem they forced on you. Those were the days.

I used to be scared of the Repo Man.

Also... The Rockers owned.

But Koko B-Ware was awesome.

Doink tended to annoy me... yet there were times where he REALLY made me laugh.

I miss Mankind and all the other Mick Foley personas. He entertained me really well AND was Teh Hardcore of Harcore.

I liked Undertaker at first, then he went Biker and ruined it for me. Now he's back to old school, but it's not the same.

Eddie Guerrero: RIP, man. You kicked ass.

John Cena, The Rock, Batista, all cool "new" rasslers (Rock would be the first of the new gen).

I've only seen very little about the CLASSIC rasslers, so I can't say much for pre-80's WWF

Brutus the Barber Beefcake was awesome too.

The British Bulldog was a flamer

But why has nobody mentioned the fucking Ultimate Warrior?

Best... theme... EVAR.

The documentary about him sucked though.

I never saw that but heard a lot of bad things were mentioned about him on it. He was truly awesome to behold, though. He was a very good technical wrestler with a lot of flashiness.

Man. Can't believe I forgot. Yes, he was. Hacksaw Jim Dugan was another cool one.

The "recent" incarnation was. The old school version was cool

OMFG. I COMPLETELY forgot. He. Kicked. Ass.

No. It is like, top 5. Not BEST.

Never saw it. Not worth the watch I take it.

It sucked... bad.

And his theme was PURE adrenaline!

I think I swore off "new" wrestling when I saw Chuck and Billy or something? WWE should not have gay marriage on it... or ANY marriage. It was just too far gone... those 2 in their pink tights.... /gag

I did have a lot of VERY distasteful jokes about Chris Benoit though... I liked that fucker and he let me down.

Oh, and new people, Jericho was the shit... then they made the Walls of Jericho into a Boston Crab.... so it wouldn't mess anybody up.

LAME.

Old days:

"Don't forget the razor. We need to see blood gushing from that face"

Now:

"Dude, ease up on the choke hold, and sit for a minute, I need to catch my breath"

Now, I'll be the first to say that the act of actually injuring yourself for show is a bit much, but from what I hear from some older dudes commenting about the newer dudes... man... just not cool.

Also, I see NOTHING wrong with good old fashioned leg drops, elbow splashes, sleeper holds, body slams, boots to the face, etc. Some of the attempts at flash now a days is just too much.

I want some PURE Pro Wrestling. If I want flash then I'll go play some street fighter.

So what was the whole story about Benoit? I heard he killed himself?

Pretty much. He killed his wife, kid, then hung himself.

In regards to Benoit, a later examination of his brain took things beyond the "juiced up on steroids" angle. Apparently, as stated in another thread, his brain resembled that of a 85 year old in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's thanks to a ton of unhealed/aggravated contusions, concussions and lesions. His brain chemistry and mental health was jacked up (in much the same way that has happened to some other wrestlers and football players) that his snapping like he did or turning into a total vegetable was more of a eventuality than a danger.

I wonder if Good Ol' JR was the commentator for that match.

To get back on topic though, I present to this forum a series of videos gathered by Gawker Media, owner/operators of such sites as Kotaku, Gizmodo and of course, the totally NSFW Fleshbot.

The files in question have to do with the video attached to the audio clips that Jynexia first mentioned at the start of this thread (which the subject's "church" has been working furiously to suppress). Thankfully as Gawker has a history of weathering bullying , following legal proceedings and calling BS on all manner of shady practices, this should be up for a good while (or at least more than 5 minutes).

Please sit back and enjoy the following
