Horrid headache last night. Went to sleep. Horrid headache this morning. Isn't sleep supposed to make these things go away. It feels like I was punched in my left eye 15 times and now have a few screw drivers inside my head trying to get out. Tylenol hasn't helped. Advil hasn't helped. Pain killers haven't helped. Suggestions?

Splitting headache? Is it a migrane? If so, you'll just have to let it pass.

Just a VERY bad headache? Aspirin. Lots of it. And quite, dark room, and rest.

That don't help? Go down to your local clinic.

Laying down and resting in a quiet, dark room is definitely some good advice, I'd think. Stay hydrated, take the strongest painkillers you have, and try to sleep through it. Possibly try Aleve/naproxen sodium or something else that helps with muscle tension/pain?

If none of that works, then like Dave said, go to a clinic, especially if none of your painkillers are effective. Prolonged pain is really not good for you, and medical professionals can give you something much stronger. I'm really sorry you have to go through this. Sad *huggles Kara* I have a friend who gets migraines and I know it's not fun. Sad

Something like this happened to my sister. She would get the worse headaches and nothing would help. They would fade, but they would come back, eventually she had to get perscription pain killers.

It is one of corporate America's newest employee initiatives. Inducing general discomfort/splitting headaches during the weekend/holidays/off hours causes the poor drones to, over time, sub consciously start looking forward to the working week as a far more pleasant time. And after you have them thinking that way you can start requiring extra work loads, laughably higher quality standards and things like over-overtime (all with those not meeting the marks being sent home early for the day) and you'll find them just /begging/ to keep working for you.

Those less scrupulous manages in the audience may feel free to also hold bidding wars in regards to who's willing to work for less in order to avoid the excruciating hell which is "time off".
