Proven. Rain is in fact wet. Now that I know, can it please STOP! It's raining nonstop. Massive traffic because dumbass drivers are afraid to go over 20mph meanwhile idiot drivers are going 100mph around them causing accidents that make normal drivers like me have to go 5mph. 15 minute commute turned into 50 minutes. My hair is frizzy and looks like I've been rubbing a balloon on it all day. My umbrella covers the top but what about the fucking rain coming from the front, sides, back? Rain DOESN'T just fall down. Stupid wind. And at the same time its so fucking cold outside. 36 degrees. Don't I live in California? I mean we aren't supposed to be this cold here. Seattle, Chicago, I expected this. But California. Are you SoCal kids having this issue? Probably not huh.

It rained wicked bad last night... it was awesome!

I lived in Arcata though, so this is like drizzle.

Rain is NOT fun. Rain can be fun but very rarely and most definitely not now and most definitely not when its freezing cold. Rain is a horrible horrible thing and I should be allowed to stay home when it rains and not have to come to work. I want to be home in PJs under a blanket in a dim room with my heater on high and random brain mushing tv on. And I'd like that right now.

Easy there Sewer Urchin, aren't there meds you should be taking?...

We're having rain down here, but except for the problems on the freeway its totally a good thing. Means I don't need to water the plants for a bit, means the air is going to be nice and clean for a while and means that online servers shall be extra packed (woot!) among other things.

Also, since many of us here have spent time in far rainier climes this isn't so bad. We aren't blowing a random organ/getting an aneurysm because there's drizzle. And hell, when the sun comes out again its going to be extra nice.

*puts the pom-poms away*

Pfft, what? Rain not fun? You're fun center must be cracked and broken by the fields of oppression emitted by cubicle walls. Rain can totally be fun and really nice. Its just drama queening to "poo poo" at it unless you actually had something important to do outside (like an event or nature date (which could totally still happen as wet clothes=more transparent clothes with a need to take them off sooner than later) ). Pfft, I say.

Besides, when you finally get home and slip under the covers, why will it seem extra nice? Thats right, because of the rain:)

Be glad it's not snow. I'd take California rain over New York snow any day.

I love the rain except that it rains differently here then in the northeast. It kinda freaked me out a little. Plus these roads don't have reflective paint so you can't see the road lines. But aside from the crappiness of driving in the rain rain is friggin' awesome.

rainy parking lot + rear wheel drive car = fun....

Rain is the best.... all the water... wet things... water and stuff... there can be nothing better.

And complaining about the traffic... I drive a very lite car... I will only go 65 on the freeway because if I go any faster... I crash and die... sometimes if there is too much water... I will even go down to 50... I hate the assholes that tailgate you because there is sooo much water you can barely see out the windshield... damn fucktards, go around and slow the fuck down.
