<ahem> Yay.

Looks like a good ol' fashioned action flick.

I'm not sure how i feel about this. When I first heard about the Rocky Balboa Movie I thought, "This is the stupidest premise I'd ever heard of." Then, however, I remembered the real life Foreman/Holyfield bout. So, I'm not sure I'f I'm going to rule out john Rambo immediately, however I'm keeping my excpectations low.

Glad you saw it. Now we need to have you see the first one. And then, for fun, the 4th one. A full on Kung Fu movie masquerading as a boxing flick.

Wait? Joel. You've never seen Rocky? Like the original Rocky? The good one?

As much as it might surprise you Dan, Joel is very Dave-like in his movie watching. That is to say that there is a /ton/ (potentionally a F-ton, though definitely not a Slime-Ton) of stuff he hasn't seen. He's seen alot of Westerns and Asian flicks but more mainstream stuff exists as a hole in his necrotic, nicotine-stained little heart.Sad Only this last weekend did he see "Big Trouble in Little China"...and he didn't actually enjoy it.

The hell you say! Big Trouble is classic! The scene with the invincible juice is more than worth the admission/cost/rental fee!! Shocked

Well, in the immortal words of Uncle Argyle, "That is something we shall have to remedy."

Truth.
You've known me how long Dan? Most of the movies you played at your house I'd never seen. Never did watch a lot of movies growing up so I missed out on a lot. Also during high school I was more into the old westerns and triad Hong Kong action films.

When you say old how old are we talking about? John Ford "old" or Young Guns. Keep in mind we have a self-proclaimed 16 year old here.
