Those who can should start some newbie toons on Hyjal, and start talking about this legendary hero named "Hume", talking about improbable feats that they've heard from a friend of a guildie, etc. etc. Then all one does is sit back and watch the rumor mill do the rest.

While not that awesome, I did experience something similar back in the last weeks of my time on WoW. The Horde were getting beaten by the Alliance time and time again after the server mergers for PvP. So we had the bright idea to organize ourselves via Vent servers. Hordies from different servers would time it so they could all join the same battles, then we all worked in unison, leading us to victory after victory

Well, imagine my surprise when I jump on and I hear, "Hey, It's Lukra! Things are looking up now!" Dee, who I invited to join our shenanigans, whispered me in amusement, surprise, and pride, "Dude! You've made a name for yourself! Good Job!"

I'm just that asshole who gets bored and makes comments in general during a raid, while healing (up by 8% yesterday #2!) I'm really not well known besides with people I grouped/guilded with early BC.

Forgot to say Tidewalker downed a bit ago. He's been killed 3 times now and this last time we killed him we walked into Fathromlord to see how he was and 1 shot him. Wooot Progression. Leo's next then we're 5/6 3/4.

Yeah, Karathress is a joke. TOTAL Joke. Leo isn't bad if you got a good lock tank, and non-retarded DPS.

As soon as we get 5/6 3/4 down, and have a day or 2 left, it's Vashj time.

Grats on Tidewalker BTW... I think you mentioned it to me, but not in the thread.

We finally got our Talon of Azshara... that TSB_Whirlwind guy that just registered picked it up.... Dragonstrike + ToA on a Fury Warr is scary...

Yup Talon dropped on Monday for our rogue. He was so giddy because the other rogue in the raid is daggers so he was singing in vent. Was quite funny. Our lil lock is the bestest lock ever. He's my cutesy lil gnomey gnome friend. He's geared and ready. He's also our top DPS every raid by FAR!!! And our DPS is pretty smart. All but this one stupid hunter who is useless. Oh wait.. thats me.

So I've had my epic flyer for like... 9 months now... and I finally decide to get with the program and start doing my netherwing dailies...

those quests suck my balls, so hard. I'm too lazy to do the SKyguard and Ogri'la... and those are FAST. this "kill 800 things" is bullshit.

The thing about Leo is you gotta own him in the 10 minutes... he's not like hydross where enrage still gives you another 30 seconds. So yeah, DPS has to gogogo.... but at the same time... he Drops agro between whirlwinds... AND between fucking phase shifts... then you have the inner demons which are annoying as all hell (mainly for shadow priests/affliction locks/priests/droods).

Have your lock L2TimeCoD so that ya'll don't have to worry about agro during demon phase.

Main thing, when he whirls, everybody needs to back the fuck up. If like 6 people get hit by dots, it's GG for them.
