I Don't Color the Strips

A lot of people (yeah, I'm surprised at how many people actually read this) keep asking me why the coloring on the strips and the coloring on the MySpace pics are so different.

I don't color the strips. Dan does. He enjoys it, and he's been coloring on image editing programs longer than I have. That's why they look different.

Dan, I think it's time you put a credits tag on the main page, or maybe I should add them to each strip like I do with The Adventures of Dave the Direman... although wordman (Dee) and picturman (me) are staple Direman, so we need something else.

If you ask me, I like the tag you had on the first few strips:
"Witty Words and Colorful Colors by Dan Gallagher"
"Perfect Pictures and Legible Letters by David Vargas"

I used to enjoy coloring, till all the fun got sucked out of it. And, I'd be more than happy to let you take over in that department, however. you and I need to "Cross Swords" as you said, on some of the color choices first.

Why does everyone want color in this day and age... I want the story and the color and don't really care how brown I look and things of that nature. Just my .02c

I like the colors, black and white are ok, but colors make the word go round! And makes pretty pictures prettier.

It sure does.
That's why I finally broke down and decided to do http://direman.com in color as well. Dee, the writer of Direman and current guest member of the squishy cast (Yes, Joel, you're gonna get added soon enough!) seems rather pleased with the decision.
