Pretty sweet, is the car built for racing... or is it a daily driver? _________________ Monkey of the technical type.

The Twin Plenum version was intended for racing, but for it to be permitted into the group it was meant to enter ROver had to build 200 for public use. Some were snatched up by the police (something to do with the 160 mph top whack) and others were bought by criminals (oddly enough we own two, one belonged to a bank robber [Ronny Knight, not that anyone knows him] and the other was claimed to be a Royal protection Squad car, since proved false).
Ours is a driver, but technically identical to the race versions apart form ours has a rear seat and other luxuries, such as electric windows. Things like that never get into race cars. ^,^ _________________ Blake: "Tally ho, chocks away old chap"

Considering how much time/money gets spent on weight reductions I would think not.

Well I guess it's fair enough really. Apparently the SD1's were _very_ successful, but I haven't actually seen any numbers, so I remain doubtful. Here's a piccy for those too lazy to look around. The black one (E277 DPG) is my Dad's, and the red one (I forgot the plate) is Mum's.
I would drive a Mini, but for now I'm too young, not to mention it's currently in pieces scattered all over our garage. _________________ Blake: "Tally ho, chocks away old chap"

Never mind the cars (very nice, btw), I want your home (what little bit of a corner I can see, also very nice) _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

Yes, it looks quite nice. It seems to overlook something, perhaps a lake or ravine. _________________ Conan! What is best in life?

I wish I could say that is my home... This picture was taken somewhere in The Netherlands, there's quite an SD1 following there... Anyway I think the house you see is actually the arse parts of a cafe and hotel. Thanks for all the nice words about the cars BTW. _________________ Blake: "Tally ho, chocks away old chap"
