Well now that the whole Anna Nicole thing is safely locked away in the history vaults, hopefully with a straight jacket and padded walls, we now will see a barrage of nightly specials about the Viginia Tech shooting. "The Largest Mass Murder in History!" That being said, I wonder how long it will take for some filthy vulture to pick up the movie rights and create a made for tv movie on the big screen AGAIN. And yes I really think this is the worst thing about the shootings, the fact that someone will eventually capitalize on such a tragedy. Sad

P.S. Sorry to post up something so serious, I know it's not like me but deal with it Wink

I bet there are a bunch of Auschwitz survivors that just loved hearing that on the news/

I believe the media is calling it "the deadliest campus shooting in U.S. history".

In any case, the news are stating that there were 2 shootings roughly 2 hours appart from each other. I'm wondering how the gunman was able to pull off a second shooting, which was the worse of the two, once law enforcement was on the scene.

Campus secruity and police issued a warning to faculty and students at the same time the second shooting was going on. Law enforcement didn't feel it was necessary to close the campus because they felt the shooter had fled the premises. Just reading the articles from yesterday was rather interesting. The guy chained the doors shut to the building to stop people from fleeing the building, now that's some thinking. Anyway I've only heard on the radio and read that they're calling it the largest mass murder in history, don't get me confused with the regular media. Wink

I confuse "media" with my source of news, which is the talk radio I've taken up recently as well as the L.A. Times and what sources I can find online. I refuse to watch the news on TV now.

I don't watch the news, I was watching all the other news channels not the local ones, which can be argued aren't all that great either. Razz

They were calling it the largest mass murder in history... but I think they said US history... Either way... He shot 2 people then stayed there 2 hours to kill the rest.. I think the 5oh have some explaining to do. Personally, I Kinda wished he would of not killed himself. I think he would have learned a lesson by being Bubba's bitch for a little bit, the the chair.... Twisted Evil

Not sure maybe I'm just not hearing it right on the radio or whatever. But then again media has a way of over embellishing anyway.
