It all depends on what you thought of the first one. I thought the first one was kinda lame so I went to part deux with hardly any expectations. I was more than pleasantly surprised. _________________ Conan! What is best in life?

Say what you will, you can't deny that he has a cool way of speaking. _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

When asked what he thought of the second Fantastic Four movie Kevin Smith said this: "Its totally watchable...not good, hated the first one. This was better....Our standards are so low now that if you said it was watchable I'd say "I'm there"." _________________ <(@_@<), <(@_@)>, (>@_@)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_~)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_@<) |

I'd say it's one step above "watchable." It's enjoyable. _________________ Conan! What is best in life?

I'm actually more curious about watching the almost intentionally bad FF movie Marvel made over a decade ago to keep their hands on the movie rights. We could chalk that up to the ever popular Morbid Curiousity. _________________ <(@_@<), <(@_@)>, (>@_@)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_~)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_@<) |

Well, it wasn't as much of a steaming pile of turd film making as the first one, but it was still pretty abysmal. My friends and I shouted things throughout the entire movie. Some of it doesn't make sense unless you've seen the Silver Surfer cartoon from the 90's where every other word out of SS's mouth is him talking about his love 'Shala-bal' or his planet 'Zen-la' or just 'Norran Rad' his real name. But yeah, at least I didn't hate SS as much as I hated the last 20 minutes of Pirates 3. We snuck in after SS and I honestly hated it within 30 seconds.
Also Galactus was a freaking cloud. What the hell? Also the Stan Lee cameos are getting annoying...

This movie is amazing and completely worth watching. Human Torch saves the day by punching a laser. It's every bit as terrible as it sounds, but they get Dr. Doom better than the new movies do, somehow. Also, why is Doom the Emperor in the new movie? A disfigured cloaked figure with lightning powers? |

Never was a fan of the whole lightning thing as a carry over from the first movie. I was hoping they would delve into his sorcery background in this one. They never really explained how he transmutated from a solid block of metal to flesh, either. Again, it's no Spider-Man 2, but worth watching IMHO. _________________ Conan! What is best in life?
