Really? I mean, Sonic's a part of my childhood, but it has lately been beaten to death. I can't even look at it now without sheding a tear. And BioWare... they make nothing but good games. I don't think I can fully get my head around this:

I'd like to know more about this before I make any judgement calls. Then again, my gut reaction already instilled a judgement in me. Damn.

I'm going to be really disapointed, if this game doesn't register as "good". Sega has let me down on Sonic for far too long that I had just about written him off much like I did with Square and the Final Fantasy series after FF7.

BioWare, you got my hopes up on the sheer fact that you haven't let me down yet.

FF9 was pretty good. It wasn't 7 but it was definitely playable.

Sort of blew that the "trance" limit break system just went off when it felt like it with no actual way to "save it" for something important.

"Lets go fight that big boss! We're all geared up and ready to go off. Oh crap, its a pair of bombs!"

*first bomb casts fire 1 on the group, everyone's trance goes off the two little bombs get completely demolished*

"...that sucked..."
*boss'es shadow looms over them*

And I can't quite remember, but did they also go into a sort of "berserk" state where you lost control of them and they just acted on their own?

Bioware (good games) + sonic = paradox -> universe collapse. As much as I hope for a good Sonic game, the existing laws of the universe will not allow it to be so. Bioware would probably be better off gradually making them better and better, allowing the "rules" to slowly adapt and get used to this recent change of events, preventing a collapse of the space-time continuum.

And no, I have almost no idea what the hell I'm on about.

Pfft!

BioWare will beat Sonic into being good. BioWare's sway on reality is much greater than Sonic's.

The real question here is, will Jaleel White be involved in any way;)?

Nostalgia tells me I'd like that :p

Reality tells me that's not gonna happen.

My gut reaction says I couldn't stomach him saying "I'm waaaiiiiitiiiing" in that almost whine caliber voice he did for Sonic in the cartoons.

What of the return of the S.S.S.S.S* ;p?

* Super Sonic Search and Smash Squad (at various points a extra "S" was inserted between "Super" and "Sonic" in the form of "Secret". Membership consisted of Scratch the chicken-bot and grounder the mole-tank bot
