I don't care what it's like, I'l love it either way. Unless it lacks online play, something I will never forgive on a console with built in WiFi such as the Wii.
*clicks knuckles and neck* You heard me Nintendo... _________________ Blake: "Tally ho, chocks away old chap"

Yes, that actually happened. In Algebra 1. In the States. To me.
Somewhere in the middle I believe they mentioned that Smash Bros Brawl will NOT be online capable.
If I misunderstood, great. If not... well... all I can say is W.T.F.?! _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

The Wii is bullshit. Nintendo is akin to your first girlfriend, who was sweet, pretty and giving...so wonderful that you just knew you were going to marry her. Years later, you wake up and you realize she's crazy, fat, and doesn't put out anymore. You have great nostalgic memories and a tremendous soft spot for her, but at some point, you have to escape the abuse.
I've articulated my anger here (15 posts before I can link URL's? )
Bleh, it's July 6, 2007 in the direman dot com archives.
I've moved on through the stages of grief past "bargaining" into "depression" about Nintendo.

It is now official "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" /will/ be online capable. As part of the announcement it was stated that other modes/types of online play shall be announced later but here's what's solid at this point:
-Online global play, either with friends or anyone.
-Playing with friends allows you to track stats and leaderboard.
-You can map pre-typed messages to the D-Pad to taunt your friends with.
-Playing "with anyone" as they call the random online play allows you to do neither of the previous two things.
-Not only can't you communicate with random opponents, but it won't even show player names while you beat the crap out of you. Obviously this is to protect 14 year old Billy from the legions of Wii-owning pedophiles just chomping at the bit to get to him.
-There has yet to be any mention of any sort of voice/"typed" communication online, even with friends.
-FRIEND CODES are still in full effect
-"If you’re registered as friends, you can check each other’s status. If a friend is online and you earn his or her consent, you can enter a battle."
-You can change your icon. _________________ <(@_@<), <(@_@)>, (>@_@)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_~)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_@<)

My brother just got one, and it looks pretty cool. I did not get to play it yet... and only saw pokemon... the online thing sounds like it sucks... Glad it was his money _________________ Monkey of the technical type.
