Yeah. I find that most of those people who do that dont get out of the house. They never had a real job and they dont undstand workplace politics.

so one of our phone carriers, you know like AT&T, Verizon, XO, etc., goes out because of a local black out and disrupts service to a lot of our customers. everyone of them has a right to be upset so i don't hold it against them and all they want is some form of compensation, totally not a problem. this one guy calls and you know what HE wants? he wants me to promise him that something like that will never happen again. DUDE!! come on, I'll break down the laws thermodynamics for a perpetual, fuel less power supply to ENSURE THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN AGAIN! and when i'm done with that miracle i'll hold back the earthquakes and volcanoes while in some of my reflection time formulate an aerosol compound that would repair the earth's ozone layer and keep polar bears from drowning

so then i tell there's no way i can do that and i ask him what i can do for him at this point, then he starts talking about what everyone should be doing, re-routing, redundancy configurations to have prevented this. like i know anything about that crap or he does for that matter, google make everyone think they know something about everything...

i wish i had told him he should call them and tell them how to do their job, and maybe he would've and not realized that their be no one to answer because there's a power outage and they have no phone lines either!!!

I used to work for a little company called Jobtrak before they got swallowed up by, well, Monster. Customer service calls were always the worst. Sometimes it was better to be a dick just so they wouldn't want to deal with you.
