Its once again time for everybody's favorite game: "Fun With Babel Fish!"
Thats right, after having caught wind that Tsuburaya (the company that owns/produces the various "Ultraman properties) had just announced the Ultraman/suit design for their next iteration of the series, I took it upon myself to click on the provided link and read the story. Which I promptly found to look a little something like this:
Damn, a Japanese story in Japanese...undaunted I looked to your friend and mine, Altavista's "Babel Fish" translation software. A quick paste of a link later and I was happily reading the article and fully absorbing its information in all its English glory...sort of.
Babel Fish has been around for some years and while greatly improved from its original forms, there are still times when the overall output is less than stellar. Don't get me wrong, I use this function almost regularly to glean information not generally released outside its home area and more often than not the translation is coherent and well put together. Its just that this, wasn't one of those times. Behold a pair of gems from the translation!:
