I thought it was Glenn Rock and Eagle Dale.
And San David is NOT oppresive, thank you very much. It's a safe, practically crime free utopia. All citizens lead happy, healthy, and productive lives where they are free to pursue their dreams, and San David is there to help them with that.
Citizens have the best education available to both the rich and poor. All citizens have their health care needs covered with virtually no waiting periods and hardly any out of pocket expenses. San David has expansive and beautiful public places of rest and recreation like lush parks, clear waterways, and a great amusement park. The arts are well supported with several theaters and concert halls. And need I remind you of all the major contributions that have come from Doc Chibi Labs thanks to major funding from San David?
And just look at the community! Kids taking time out of their day to volunteer in keeping the city clean. Teens and young adults helping out at the clinics and social service centers to help the few people who do experience an unlucky break and just need some help to get back on their feet. And the seniors, bless their hearts, even long after they've retired and reap the rewards from generous pension plans they still insist on lending their experience and guidance to the younger geneartions in all levels of the work force.
San David is quite easily THE place to live. _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

Fuck that I'd much rather live to the south of San David in the the urbanized Racoon City. So much to do there. Police? Non-existent, citizens? armed to the teeth, Crime? unheard of, AND I get to walk around with loaded firearms wherever I go? Why on earth would I want to live in that sick dystopia of a suburb known as San David? _________________ Anyone who says money can't buy happiness doesn't have enough money.

And all if costs them is their freedoms, most of their free will, and (eventually) their souls. Yaaaay!
Yes it was a really nice place, but lets not forget the occasional reports of citizen's fears of the ever present police force. Which did happen. _________________ <(@_@<), <(@_@)>, (>@_@)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_~)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_@<)

I will assume you mean Racoon City.

Yes, there were reports of that. It was ALWAYS that one bald dude in the bowling shirt. No matter what you do someone will always be unhappy. He always complained that taxes were too high at 9% sales tax. Never mind the fact that all his income was his to spend because everything else was basically taken care of.
As for heavy police presence, that is also true. I had enough well trained police officers that a patrolman on foot could respond to any trouble in seconds. And the officers were also trained to follow the spirit of the law, not the letter. In the burbs, kids could play in the street. Heck, their local officer would usually join in. Cat up in a tree? Officer Jenkins was there to help. Dispute between neighbors? Officer Dominguez was on stand by IF the neighbors wanted him to mediate. Otherwise they were encouraged to resolve their conflicts on their own.
BTW, I think it's awsome that I had nice vibrant trees on every street corner _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

I was talking about San David, just that Joel responded first.
And sure, trees on every corner, pumping out copious amounts of oxygen and aerosol tranquilizers to keep the populace in a euphoric and complacent state.

Lies. You're just mad that I refused to grant you funding to conduct drug research on inmates. _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

Ah, now we start with the city-funded smear campaign against any who dare contradict the stated view of reality posed forward by El Generalisimo...so sad.. never mind the inmate drug testing was a research project solicited by the city (more State, in the totalitarian sense) for those self-same aerosol tranquilizers before I found out and shut it down. _________________ <(@_@<), <(@_@)>, (>@_@)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_~)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_@<)

See. You need to speak up next time. Far as I knew, it was YOUR doing. Such an unethical approach is strictly forbidden.
And now that SOMEONE finally informs me about this, steps can be taken to prevent corruption like this from occurring in the future in San David. _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

That whole fucking city is corrupt from the bottom all the way to the top. There's nothing you can do about it either.
