Now available from Skymall comes the "Official Game Haven PC3". What might that be you ask?

At first glance it is a dual arcade stick bank, much like the X-Arcade Dual Joystick. The initial difference here is that besides 2 joysticks and the customary Six-Button "Street Fighter" layout the PC3 also comes with the following bells and whistles:
-Dedicated 4-way joystick (for playing games like "Pac-Man" without the worry of wasting precious miliseconds by pressing the wrong way before hitting the correct standard direction)
-Pinball flippers (for emulated sphere manipulation)
-"Tilt" buttons (for cheating "physics bending" your way through emulated sphere manipulation)
-3" track ball (built right into the top for playing games like "Centipede" and "Missle Command" The Right Way(TM) )
-Compatability with multiple monitors, HD screens, televisions through a Butt Load of outputs built into it.
-Availible in Black, White, Wood or /Marble/.
-3 Year Warranty
-DVD Expansion slot for loading software/music
-Pre-loaded with (according to the site) 1000 classic games, including PC games.

Oh yeah, sort of neglected to mention the fact that the whole thing has a "expandable" PC running Windows XP built right into it.

You know, as a concept and set up its actually not bad. Sure you could easily take a older PC and buy a X-Arcade (at a "modest" $130 for the two player version plus shipping and any system adapters you buy) for the "feel of it" or even go with a simple console style controller, but as a one stop solution for retro-gaming/old to semi-recent school PC gaming this is defintely something to consider.

Also something to consider? The price. The PC3's catalog page (which can be found here, and which I pretty much paraphrased) lists its price at $3,999. Plus shipping (The page also states there is a "extra $100 shipping charge" on this item and that it will take a full month to arrive from day of purchase). This is recommended for people who love retro gaming with "authentic" set ups and lots of money to burn or just really, really bad impulse control.

Oh, "my bad". Apparently I neglected to mention this.

Platinum plating, really? Confused
