After err.. 4 years of being away from this comic because of erratic updates resulting in months of lack of anything new to read on the site I eventually forgot about it. Suddenly I remember the link and hit up the site again to today's comic. It reminded me of one of the reasons I left it in the first place, reused jokes over and over and over... Well, I thought, as long as I'm here I'll check out the first of September and up to see if anything had changed in terms of storytelling and strips that aren't rehashed.
I was not disappointed. From what I've read, his style has grown and the story is really good. His art, which was really good even then has gotten better. It's reminded me of why I started reading Sinfest in the first place. Got chuckles out of me and I have no sense of humor.

This might actually be a good spot to start reading from. This way you get some idea on the origins of Slick's present crisis. _________________ <(@_@<), <(@_@)>, (>@_@)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_~)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_@<)

I <3 sinfest. It's pretty, its witty, its dirty and sometimes its adorable ^_^ And I never noticed any lacking in updates and whatnot, by virtue of the fact that... well, I'm the kind of webcomic reader who steps away from a comic for months at a time, so as to read in chunks. So I never really noticed any problems.
Repeat jokes or unfunny strips aren't so bad when you can just hit the next button, but I imagine if you were waiting for each update and the next one is late and not terribly funny, then you might be more disappointed.
Then again, I'm easily entertained ^_^

Ah, so you're the bad kind;p
But yeah, I do that to with some things in order not to hit "The Wall" too often.
