They do supply us with a steady stream of B-tier (in terms of work they take, not skill) actors, so there's that. Showtime's Sci-Fi/Occult program line-up ("The Outer Limits", "Poltergeist: The Legacy", and "Stargate SG-1") wouldn't have stood a chance if they weren't there.

Also ice....and they also helped preserve the freaking coldness of the damn Arctic wind that swooped down on us earlier in the year, that was nice of them.
