Dude, DMing with the old AD&D system (with every chart you can imagine) was the shit! Gaming nowadays (as with many things in life) is weak. Give me the old Monster Manuals I and II any day, replete with full character backgrounds of the nine rulers of Hell (Asmodeus, you bastard!). I still remember my very first character in that system: the cavalier Sir William Thornton - he kicked ass with a capital "k" and a capital "a" - he Kicked Ass. If anybody wants to run a game of good ol' D&D, count me in!

Dude! I am /so/ totally in! Every once in a while I try to get a full-on, reproductive spheres to the wall AD&D game going (damn those Carrion Crawlers and curse the Gelatinous Cube!!!) and everyone says yeah that'd be fun and we may end up rolling a few characters and then.....nothing...-_-...

Thanks, Mike. Even MORE reason to run in terror from the Gelatinous Cube. Not that we needed any more.

Well... it could be more of a warning.

"Take home a Companion Cube today!!!!'

warning: Exposure to semen can make the companion cube take on the form of a gelatinous cube, ingesting and slowly digesting your manparts. Jizz at your own risk

I can see it now... It grows in power and starts to launch warm thick liquid at people. For some reason it has a +hit modifier if it goes for the eye.

Gelatinous Money Shot FTW!
