Arturo's gifted with the ability to get a "sense" of the person he's with. He's a sort of emotional/personality sponge that can take a person's style, mesh it with his own, then fire it right back to make for great times. It's why he can have a debate/argument with Dee, totally screw around with Mike, talk about general life stuff with me, and (recently) just sit down and watch Buffy/Angel with Jynx to her heart's content.

Arturo and Ny (sadly, not in the strips despite the oodles of potential), now THAT'S a scary beast to see. I've never seen two people derive SO much entertainment from nature documentaries.
