I could call you a fucking asshole and the only context clue you would have as to my true meaning is the fact that you know me and therefore know that I would never call you that and mean it. So I find it interesting that you would infer pathetic uncertainty from my statement rather than a sort of rallying cry to all like-minded people ("Am I right? Of course I'm right!").
