It's just a display of "You have to kill the animal to eat it."
I know you're not a PETA lover... but that's a total PETA lover post...
So... to all you PETA people... if you REALLY want... I can just take a knife and fork to a live pigs back and torture it while I dine... instead of giving it the dignity of a quick death first. _________________

Ahh, okay. I don't mind that animals have to die for me to eat them, that's a natural part of the food chain, no worse than a bear or a lion eating something.
I just don't want to watch, or have to think about all the crap that's in the food I'm eating. |

Quicker than a .45 to the back of the head... old school style.
I dunno, that seems nicer than stabbing a hook through somebodies mouth and suffocating them.

| I do agree we could do a better job in terms of how we raise and kill the animals we eat. |

For meat to be Kosher it has to be blessed by a Rabbi and then killed humainly. Now I know PIGS aren't Kosher but the way it's done for cows is they use a blade that is so sharp that it slices without pain. The cut the animals throat and the animal never feels it. It just dies. The meat is more expensive kosher because it has to be done this way and not using a conveyor belt of doom but I mean come on. _________________

I'm telling you, man: Beef Vats!
We bioengineer the meat without the animal.
It'll be no worse than killing vegetable matter at that point. _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

Then don't eat meat. Veggies and Beans are far cheaper anyway. Or Tofu. _________________

The soul and happiness of the former animal is where you get the zing in meat though...
Making it in Vats would take away the pizzaz, flair, and pow. _________________

I just had a wonderful wonderful Mediterranean salad with eggplant, fresh crumbled blue cheese, squashes of all kinds, walnuts, and cranberries under a very light tasty Balsamic vinaigrette dressing AND 3 veggie spring rolls that were absolutely to die for. I'm absolutely stuffed. _________________

Two tomato, onion and garlic marinated steak burritos. Small ones to satisfy but not overeat as we're all prone to as Americans
Washed it down with a sip of Coke, water, and then chased it all with an orange.
Nothing fancy, but I'm happy. _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

Scrambled eggs with diced sausage links (eggs were seasoned), washed down with a red plant juice (Jamaica), two pieces of buttered toast, and a cupcake made by someone's mom.
The meat was especially tasty. _________________ <(@_@<), <(@_@)>, (>@_@)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_~)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_@<) |
