Is presently unknown. Over at the website for it all there is is a countdown.
Treasure has made two "Bleach" anime-licensed games for the DS so far but that isn't why I'm posting. The reason why is because this unknown game is being created in conjunction with Entertainment Software Publishing who where the people who produced some of Treasure's most well known "shoot'em up" games ("Radiant Silvergun", "Ikaruga" and "Bangai-O" to name three).

For those in the audience who aren't Dee (Razz), Treasure is a smaller Japanese game development house who follows a design philosophy of going with what their programming/art design team want in everything from what types of games they are working on to what systems those games are released to(which has lead to things like dropping landmark vertical shooter "Ikaruga" on the Nintendo Gamecube at a time when many larger developers were "saving" the best versions of their bigger franchises for the Xbox and Playstation 2). This has worked quite well for them so far as sales have remained quite strong for their products on both the game store and used games market. Note that while the link is to a eBay store and not a auction (linking to a auction would result in a dead link later on due to the page going down soon after posting) seller prices ranged from $145-250. Auctions with bids ranged from $100-180.

One last little bit of info, Treasure also has stated that they will be announcing another game at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. According to reports this will be a shooter for the X360. More details as they come, and this post will be updated as soon as the countdown ends (as of posting it was at 2 days 13 hours 17 minutes).

*UPDATE*
Presently (as I type this) the countdown mentioned above is at 45 minutes remaining. Normally this is where the interest and excitement would crescendo into a countdown-site clicking fury as eager browsers tried to shoehorn onto their bandwidth to see "what the big deal" was.

Its a bit too bad that Japanese game magazine Famitsu has already beaten the official site to the punch by a hefty little margin. The myster game? "Bangai-O Spirits", a sequel to their 1999 shooter for the Dreamcast and N64.

You can read a little about it over at 1Up. Extra options include wifi competative score based play or co-op against major bosses. There will also be a stage editor included so you can mess around and create deathtraps of your own.

Read up about Bangai-O right here
