Zoom Airlines is airfare from new york to London is $79.00 there and $199 to come back. It's cheaper for me to go to london then to go home. That's fucked up. however. good to know that it'll only cost me $100 if I ever want to move to London. _________________ Mercy is the mark of a great man.

That's it, Dan. You're taking a train out to L.A., using up 6 of your 10 days free in transit _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

Boiled things. Rubbery tubes stuffed with some sort of garnish mixed meat which isn't beef thanks to their part in making Mad Cow a threat (also boiled) _________________ <(@_@<), <(@_@)>, (>@_@)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_~)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_@<) |

As opposed to bar food which is fried stuff. Crawly or round balls, coated with some sort of breading with the remanants of the original substance all but destroyed in the process?
... damn, I suddenly want some of that fried gator we had at Michael's Bar and Grill. _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

Fish and chips, shepherds pie, steak and onion pie, Lamb Stew, et al. accompanied with a pint of stout. Also, everything isn't boiled, everything is fried. _________________ Mercy is the mark of a great man.

On another note people say American eating habits are bed, but it's the British are the ones who invented the deep fried Twinkie and deep fried snickers bar. _________________ Mercy is the mark of a great man.

Fish and Chips? Steak and Onion Pie? Lamb Stew? PINT OF STOUT!? Dan. Pub. Now.
I have no idea what sheperd's pie is. If it's anything like a chicken or beef pot pie, I'm so there. _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

Oh, I almost forgot that "Pro-America" was posted elsewhere in these forums. So allow me to correct myself in saying "Fish and French Fries". _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

Shepard's pie is basically a ground beef stew topped with mashed potatoes. I'm actually not a huge fan, but it's pretty good. Steak and Onion pie however. MMmmmmmmmm, _________________ Mercy is the mark of a great man.

If the fries are french then it's not really Pro-American. Chips is a politically neutral term. _________________ Mercy is the mark of a great man.

It's not that the fries are French that makes it Pro-American. It's that we Americans refuse to call them "chips". _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

And why, pray tell do you refuse to call "them" chips? What shape is a wood chip? Like a chip/fry, yes? Is it like a crisp/chip? I think not. Your chips are slices of potato, the approximate shape of a disk. Our chips are the shape of chips. Our crisps (your chips) are crispy. Which makes more sense?
Your chip - Crispy disk - hence our name, crisp
Our chip - Wood chip shape + fried potato yumminess
It was easier to understand when I was thinking about it, honestly. _________________ Blake: "Tally ho, chocks away old chap"
