So, note to all of you. When you leave a voicemail... SPEAK FUCKING SLOWLY WHEN YOU'RE SAYING YOUR PHONE NUMBER. I dont' get why the hell people speak slowly, then when they get to the NUMBER... they like to play the I can speak faster than Twista game.... Good god...

Oh, and totally off topic... Mikey doesn't like it.

I agree. In fact I try to do the nice thing and repeat my number once to give people a second chance to get it down or just to double check they got it right. Unless I doubt actually want them to call me, then I just mumble my number to be polite.

I've got this "speaking to a cat on downers" voice I break into when it comes time to give the number. People look at me sometimes if I use it in a crowded place or I get laughed at by my younger, cooler brother but it works great and gets the point across. I've also gotten much, much better about the long and rare times rambling voice messages....and Joel, listen to your damn voicemails! Thats what its for. You can't ask people to leave a message and then never check them!! You can, but you shouldn'tRazz

"The number is 4....3....5....6.....5.....4.....4......4.......again, 4....3...."

Your missing some Arturo, but I don't blame you I blame the drugs. It's the drugs fault that you take them. (sorry I just watched this guy on comedy central that was trying to make a joke about how people blame substances for their problem...he was so close to being actually funny).

I hate long messages because I'm neurotic and half to listen to the only thing in case something they say something that is actually important at the very end. like "hi it's me. today was an interesting day because...blah blah blah blah blah blah blah (5 minutes later)... yeah so after I finished washing the cat I went over to your parents house and by the way your mother died. talk to you later."

"Hi, my name is John Doe. My number is 555 555 5555. This is in regards to my hurts-more-than-helps-drug claim. Please call me back."

There. Short. Sweet. Those are few and far between.

Sometimes I sing when I leave voice messages so that people remember me. Or I'll be all mysterious about it.

The winners are the ones that cuss you out on the voice mail... threaten to call the BBB, then don't leave any contact info... not even a name. Shocked
