So I just moved from my 8 year old 20 inch CRT to a Samsung 32 inch flat/wide high def with a "contrast" for gaming to speed up the response time.

my
fucking
god
I was seriously in shock when I saw the xbox logo. This fucking TV is like a god damn movie screen for me. it's crazy. Then the logo itself was SUPER SUPER crisp, which made me go "wow."
Then I fired up the Bioshock demo. Just... ridiculous. The graphics are super insane. I gotta say... getting a credit card let me go "I OWN MYSELF NOW! but at least I have a neat T.V..

Thats actually a goal I can get behind. Just fear the upcoming game season. "Bioshock" is just the very shiny, very jagged tip of the iceberg....and its coming right for you.

$873 after tax. It was an online order for pickup at circut city. The price in store is like 100 bucks more... so do that cool "in store pickup" whenever you buy from 'em.
Also, I'm still hard from the time I opened the box and saw the size of the damn screen.
