The companion movie to "Flags of Our Fathers" shot at the same time, but in black and white and in Japanese tells the story of the people on the other side of the conflict. I haven't been able to see this yet but its finally hitting a general release after spending a month or so in smaller art house/showcase theaters. Apparently this is supposed to be a movie so good that the heavily opinionated Japanese film critics actually love it. GAPS!
