YAY... Now I can really fix my car... I just ordered it the other day and am waiting for it in the mail... Sorry, it is the only literature that I really read so I thought that I would finally post something in this section.
I believe that it will help me to put my car back together better. _________________ Monkey of the technical type.

I've heard about this book, seemed decent enough but there are those out there that were thoroughly unimpressed by the writing. I believe the main concern was that while there were some enjoyable dialog in there, the meat of it was a bit dry and technical for most readers.
Still, if you're happy with it then I don't see a problem. Happy reading:) _________________ <(@_@<), <(@_@)>, (>@_@)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_~)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_@<) |

The uncultured philistines who are unable to appreciate the stunning prose found in this masterpiece have no business commenting on literary merit. This book is not only well written, but it's a poignant and deeply moving treatise on humanity's love/hate relationship with the automobile, nay, with techknology itself. The themes found therein are just and relevant today as when they were written. Naysayers be damned. When the long march of history is over it will show that the 1986 Toyota Corolla Factory Service Manual is one of the greatest liter...
Wait?
What?
You're talking about the 1984 Toyota Corolla Factory Service Manual?
Oh yeah, that's crap. _________________ Mercy is the mark of a great man.

The sad thing is that many people truly do agree with you... _________________ Monkey of the technical type.

James, have you read Christine? That, too, is about a car. _________________ Conan! What is best in life?

I didn't read that, but I did see that movie a loooong time ago. If you read the book go ahead and give us a review!
And if you saw the movie as well a comparison would be nice^-^ _________________ <(@_@<), <(@_@)>, (>@_@)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_~)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_@<) |

Hey! This *is* one of the best reads ever! Here's an excerpt;
1984 Toyota Corolla Factory Service Manual:
Corolla, transport of my life, steel of my loins. My sin, my soul.
Cor-o-lla, two syllables of gentle breath on the tips of my teeth, the third a playful lick teasing the roof of my mouth. Cor. Ro. Lla.
She was Cor, plain Cor, in the morning, standing four feet four on four stock tires. She was the 'Rolla at school. Twelve easy payments for four years on the dotted line. But in my firm 3 'n 10 grip she was always Corolla.
Did she have a precursor? She did, indeed she did. In point of fact, there might have been no Corolla at all had I not loved, one bus strike summer, my own transportation.
Man, Vladdy Nabokov writes a heck of a controversial manual. _________________ A bene placito
