Some people believe that Lucille was a woman that B.B. knew, but that is not the case.

Early in his career, on a cold night in Twist, Arkansas, there was a lit barrel filled halfway with kerosene, which was quite common then. It got cold in the clubs and they did it to warm the club. Well, two men got in a fight and tipped over the barrel, which very quickly set the building on fire. Everyone ran out and as B.B. was outside he realized he left his guitar in the building, which he promptly went back in to get and nearly lost his life with the other two fatalities. Later in the morning, B.B. found out that the fire was started as a fight over a girl. Her name? Lucille. Now B.B. names every guitar he plays Lucille to remind himself never to do anything that stupid again.

The forum section is labeled anything and there's a "truly anything" thread in there. There's no reason not to use them:)

Yeah, I actually heard B.B. King tell that story live where I was ushering at his A&E Live by Request taping.
