Isn't ballistics gel intended for a completely different purpose though, what with having a similar density to human flesh and all that... Either way though, that stuff if effing awesome. I'm gonna do the math soon and try find out how much force that mat absorbed. Anyone know how much the average egg weighs? _________________ Blake: "Tally ho, chocks away old chap"

Yes, that actually happened. In Algebra 1. In the States. To me.
The weight of an egg depends on the size. There's a range from jumbo to peewee. Them's quail eggs. Plus, an ostrich egg can weigh up to 10 lbs. Let's stick with the jumbos, which for a dozen eggs would weigh up to a maximum of 30 ounces. So, 2.5 oz per egg. So there you go, get your mathy green-grey thinking thingy a-crackin'. Terminal velocity on an egg won't kill you, unless it's an ostrich egg.. _________________ A bene placito
