Ed Norton's film debut. In a school trip to San Diego we were supposed to watch "Fear", which I was set against watching, but there was a mix-up and all we saw on the listing was Primal Fear. That was the best mistake ever.
Primal Fear is a movie I can watch over and over. The acting is top notch and Norton just blew the whole theatre away that day. If you've never seen it, make it a point to rent and watch.
The whole crowd breathed a sigh at the end, the stranger to my left went "ooh!" and my lovely date and I both muttered a "wow" at the end. That was a perfect day and all we did was watch a movie.
OK, so as to not over hype the film, there are a few things it suffers from. Too many subplots lengthen the movie, which clocks in at 129 minutes. There's a few minor plot holes, but those are easily missed and the movie is still enjoyable even if you do pick them up. Halfway through the movie, pretty much everything is set in place, but I would argue that this is a good thing. From then on, your focus is on Ed Norton and his acting here was noted by many to be Oscar worthy. Plus, I would say at that point is where the director wants you follow your ideas of where the movie is headed. All in all, this is an excellent movie, may be a watch once for some. But for me, I can keep watching it over and over again.

But what's the plot?;p

I have seen this movie as well and attest to the fact that its worth seeing at least once to check out. There are quite a few subplots as Ny said, but as long as you're keeping an eye open you should catch most if it. They did pile them on a bit heavy, but most of the important stuff I caught fits together quite nicely, so at least they avoided things getting outright convoluted.
