So I was gonna post this as news, but decided not to... being that these kids want MORE readers and all. Anyways... real conversation... just happened in the last hour...

Scene: Mike and Dave exiting 7-11... mike with Coke Slurpee and some gross Buffalo Chicken Taquito thing that makes me vomit.

Dave: So this might be too much information, but I feel like a teenage boy right now.

Mike: (Looks confused but listens) Do tell

Dave: I have no dick control

Mike: (Must have heard that wrong, since it's dave and all...) The fuck?

Dave: You know how you'll be standing at attention randomly sometimes when you're a kid? I've been like that all fucking day.

Mike: Okay yeah, what the fuck... why am I being told this?

Dave: (sounds like teacher from Charlie Brown... I guess I can't use my ears through pure disgust)

Mike: You know I'm posting this on the site right?

Anyways... I can still taste vomit.. I'm not sure if it's from the gross food or dave telling me about his pee-nos.

Any single ladies out there want to help the boy? In return I may write you into a strip if I guest write...

Disclaimer: By "help" I don't mean anything short of banging his brains out (literally or figuratively, whatever works). It has to be like the resurrection... The boy needs it!

Something magical has happened today. Dave claims it's lack of sleep... I blame a lunar pattern of some sort... Dave seems to have thrown his inhibitions to the wind today... It's gross at times, entertaining at others.

I find it kind of ironic that you call Dave a "fucking dickhead" when it is indeed his dickhead (for fucking) which has caused you this mental trauma in the first place. It's like your complaint evokes images of the very thing you're complaining about.

Then again, maybe I only find that funny because I am weird. lol.

LOL! That's an awesome Direman.

I don't know why I like Vawce and Tentacleye so much. Maybe it's just the cute hentai undertones. (there's that darn slash-fiction brain again.) Tentacleye just looks so cute curled up in that first panel, and Vawce is pretty hot for an incarnation of vague ancient world-consuming evil. I love that disgusted expression in the last panel.

Ponfarr creeps me out. But in a humorous way. Which I assume is about the response his character was intended to evoke.

I like vawce too, its the yellow eyes and the cute evil... evilility. Although his head might not get knocked off so easily all the time if his neck weren't so thin. Not so much the tentacle eye though.

Also, Mike and Dave's conversation screams Clerks.

Mike, has anyone ever compared you to Randal before? Cause, maybe I'm crazy, but I get a strong Randal vibe from you.

I totally second (third?) the Vawce-love. He kicks a lower amplitude kind of ass and genuinely seems like someone I would enjoy hanging out with.

The original image of Mike looked waaay too much like Randal, but it couldn't be helped because that was how Mike looked/dressed at the time. He wasn't around for Squishy's launch, so we used his original design. Eventually, he sent us some images of him in his current dress style and I went ahead and changed up his appearance to fit.

Vawce is an awesome character. He's still "Evil", but in a more constructive sort of way. Like, he arranges to make money out of poor love-less males on MMOPRGs by acting as a digital pimp of female avatars, and messing with things like a child's soul for educational purposes. Fully rehabilitated if you ask me.

Tentacleye is my FAVORITE character in Direman. Because he can't really talk all that much, I was forced to give him "character" to speak for him. I think I do well considering I'm working with a single eye and tentacle here :p .

I'm surprised that there's people who "LIKE" PonFarr... and I don't mean as a character, I mean they LIKE him... that makes me think that I failed to convey his... ponfarrness...
