Because the rant section hasn't been updated in the longest time and I care about this kind of stuff:

Cena for what the millionth time, has defended his championship successfully. What kind of bull is that? Cena honestly, is not that great. His moves aren't spectacular, and face it he's not the next Rock. Rock had amazing mic skills, though Cena's are good, I will admit that. He can't touch The Rock's skills there aren't many that can.

The WWE is so focused on making him the next generation of the WWE that they seem to ignore those who could also be apart of that, i.e. Randy Orton. Want more? Mr. Kennedy, CM Punk (he should be on Raw cause he's an amazing wrestler and get more exposure), Carlito, Lashley, Jeff Hardy (I know, I know, but he's a young guy and he's made his return and is a new Jeff so I count him), London, Kendricks, JTG, Shad (who unfortuantelly were released, meaning FIRED), even Umaga... The list goes on. I'm not saying one of these guy should be champ next (I still think that title belongs to Randy Orton, if not him Kennedy) I just saying stop parading Cena around like he's the ULTIMATE WRESTLER (which obviuosly belongs to people like Bret, Shawn, Ultimate Warrior, Flair when he was in his prime, heck even Chyna) and start using some of the good talent that's out there instead of letting it waste away. I think Cena is one of the reasons ratings are sinking. His storylines are alwyas the same. Some keeps beating Cena, Cena comes out on top when it matters. The only exceptions to that is Edge and sort of HBK.

To the WWE Cena is a face, but to fans who are over the age of 16 Cena is a heel. He's a frickin' joke. He gets booed and he says somethiong like "Yo I don't care cause I know what I can do and what the fans say don't matter yo yo yo". Ok WRONG. What the fans say should matter because they PAY to see YOU and half of them pay to see you LOSE! Cena claims to have respect for the fans, but when he say shit like that, clearly it shows that it's not true. He's a hypocrite.

Cena does have skills, it's true, but he's not fucking invinciable. He's getting boring being Champion. If he lost a title match and you kept him like one under main event for a little while, then things would get more interesting. Almost ever guy Cena beats(with the exception of Edge because he traded himself) gets stuck in mid-card matches. I don't care what anyone says. Shawn Michaels should not be in a mid-card match, no matter what position he's in. Going up against Randy was sticking him in a stupid mid-card match which he got seriously injured for when he should;ve been champ in the first place.

I want Cena to get injured so he can be off TV for awhile. Go on hiatus. Come back and see if the fans will like you.

I do respect Cena. I don't like Cena, but I do respect him. It's the creative staff I don't respect. Right now I don't like them either. But my respect for them is going down. Right now SD and ECW are seeming like the better shows, and I refuse to watch TNA because of my loyalty to the WWE, but maybe in a year or two, if this shit keeps going on, I might change my mind.

I used to like wrestling back when cheating used to be a big deal and chair shots were rare. Now, very few wrestlers have the technical skills to be a decent wrestler. All that's required of a wrestler now is to have an olympian physique and not hurt the other guy too bad. Lots of big matches now will nearly always see someone hit with a chair and bleed a bit. There are no more wrestlers that can do technical feats like the classic matches between Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit.
Cena is bad because of over exposure. Kahli as champ? Boring. The WWE still think that slow giant freak of man wrestlers are the way to go. There's a handful of wrestlers that can probably put on a great show without the need for chairs and blading but will never get the chance because the writers are too dumb to see it.
You want to know who the future of WWE is?

Jimmy.
Wang.
Yang.

He cracks me up. He's the only reason why I even bother to watch smackdown in spite of John/Justin Bradshaw/Layfield's commentary. Although once in a while he'll actually say something interesting and surprise you.

I haven't watched for a few years. I just remember the debut day when I first heard.

MISTTTTTTTTTEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
KENNEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

And I fucking loved it!

I miss the old DX/Rock/Austin/Mankind era. It was dumb when it died off and it was like.... HHH vs. Retarded Test. Ick.

Remember the Undertaker vs. Mankind cage match? Classic! Those were the days.

It was Hell in a Cell, nub! And yes... it was awesome!

I think my favorite match ever was The Rock vs. Mankind (Before Mankind had ever won the heavyweight before).

The Corporation was out there on The Rock's side (to get him DQ'd without losing the belt if needed).

Then fucking outta nowhere DX comes out for Mankind.

That match ROCKED.

Great match. One of my all time favorites is the Shawn Michaels/Bret Hart "Iron Man" match.

Also...I know some (many?) of us used to do things like get the "Royal Rumble" on pay per view (after I stopped watching on a regular basis I'd still order it for the younger sibling), anyone still have tapes lying around from said events?

I was torn, both were faves of mine. Still, Hart was hosed on that one.

Yes he was. Another great one was Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Ricky The Dragon Steamboat at Wrestlemania 3 I think it was?

I know I still have a bunch of wrestlemanias on VHS (bought them legit, after the fact), and maybe a odd match/event or two, but I'm lacking on some of the other major ones like Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, etc.
