Day Watch:
Foreign Film. Russian action sci fi. This is a sequel to Night Watch. It's about supernatural people. Light and Dark creatures living together in a time of truce and peace. Day watch the truce is broken. Welcome to War. It's a difficult movie to understand. If you don't watch Night watch don't watch Day watch. I enjoyed it but then again I didn't need the subtitles. Go me. Rent It (If you like foreign films)

Eastern Promises:
I absolutely loved this movie. The acting was great. The story was super awesome. *Warning* though.... Vigo Mortenson (Aragorn from LOTR) has a full frontal nude scene. Somehow this didn't bother me =). This movie is about the Russian Mafia in London and about a Prostitute who got pregnant and died. Like I said excellent movie. Rent It.

Xenosaga (anime):
Basically an anime made out of all the cut scenes from the first game. If you liked the game then the anime is pretty nice. If you always wanted to know the story but never wanted to play also nice to see. But the graphics were much nicer in the game. The art in the anime is a bit old. Squishy art kicks its ass. =) (Brownie points?) Skip It.

Eastern Promises WAS gnarly as all hell... but I had to warn Treb about the sauna scene when I let him borrow it yesterday... Nothing messes you up more than not being prepared for a huge steaming pile of kung fu cock.

Great flick though.

So what is this Xenosaga thing? Is it like... the disc you get with XS2 that has all the scenes from XS1?

That series kicked ass if you were okay with playing an interactive movie. Story was fuckin' nuts... and number 3 rocked.

The xenosaga thing isn't the cut scenes from the game. It's an actual anime. New Voice actors I believe, and all new animators. I actually preferred the cut scenes though. Far prettier.
