This one is goin' out for my mom who passed away 3 years ago today while I had 2 broken arms. Yes, the broken arms from earlier this month ROCKED because I got to (had to) spend time at home with la madre. She was a cool as hell lady that kicked cancer's ASS... then had heart problems. So boooo to that.

Anyways... I'll go far in my "spirituality" to say that my dad is probably happier now since they can be together again.

What a shitty 3 years, blah.

I'll end with this. They did a good fuckin' job with us. My sister is a college counselor with a Master's, my brother is a veterinary surgeon with the equiv. of a PhD. And I'm the lowly one with a bachelor's degree, but I still rock.

So later tonight when you have that brew in your hands, pour a little out for the parents de Mike.

Not the best type of anniversaries but I'm glad to see that you're doing well and pulled through it. It's never easy losing someone close and you have done something I probably could never do. You're quite possibly one of the strongest people I know. Sending my love and care your way.

It sucks and all, but what else can I do? Gotta stick it out no matter how much I hate it at times. I mean like... I try to NOT think about how fucked up and unfair it is that I'm almost 25 and both my parents passed. So yeah, I try to stay positive and I can a good portion of the time.

Anyways, I know there's people out there with worse shit so I'm not playing the "poor me" card. But yeah... my parents rock so I gotta show some love.

It's quite weird to hear that, stadistically speaking.
Congratulations, you are quite a special person.

Mad props to your parents. They sound like they were wonderful people that did an awesome job of raising some really great kids. Much love to them.

I still remember your mom dubbing me The Coke Guy cuz I used to show up to your house with armfuls of soda and chips. She was a cool lady. I didn't get to know your dad too well but I'll pour one out for both of them. *gives Mike a big, but manly, hug*
