Study shows that, in general, both guys and gals both have the need to succeed or win, but guys have a stronger NEED to win than girls do, especially when concepts like 'territory' or 'fighting' come into play. Explains why a lot of guys get hooked to games like Call of Duty 4 and World of Warcraft while not so many girls do. Of course, that's not to say that some girls aren't up there with the guys, and that some guys steer clear like the gals, just that guys seem wired in a way that makes them likelier to get hooked.
