| I guess. I've never thought about it, but I don't really have that big of a problem with the clones being the origin of the Storm Troopers. |

Dude, the Clone Wars animated shorts were awesome! But it's still not official canon. _________________ Conan! What is best in life?

It totally is, they incorporated Grevious Weezing (from the wound he receives in the Clone Wars) into Episode 3, thereby making it cannon. They also open the movie with them rescuing Palpatine after he gets kidnapped in the shorts. So yeah, I'm pretty sure its cannon. It's also better than every minute of the prequels. |

*sigh* The so-called prequels are definitely not canon, therefore, incorporating something into them does not make that "something" canon. Yes, I am a Star Wars purist. And a snob. _________________ Conan! What is best in life?

Now, now kids. Lets let poor little Paul play in the corner with his little confined universe while we go outside and mess around in the sandbox with your Expanded Universe. _________________ <(@_@<), <(@_@)>, (>@_@)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_~)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_@<) |

Yeah, I'd say "mess around" is something you're very familiar with Arturo. Especially when it comes to...ahem...boys? _________________ Conan! What is best in life?

If by that you mean playing sports and general guy stuff as a kid, sure.

| Anybody watch the Robot Chicken Start Wars special last night? Half an hour of some of the best Star Wars material I've ever seen. |

Nope, hoping to catch it on YouTube though. I /did/ however get the Star Wars Celebration IV con exclusive Robot Chicken Star Wars Special shirt (black with the "Stoopid Monkey" monkey on the front having accidentally cut off his hand with a lightsaber) as birthday gift for a friend. Looked pretty cool. _________________ <(@_@<), <(@_@)>, (>@_@)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_~)>, <(@_@)>, <(@_@<) |

They're up there. I'd link, but apparently I can't post URLs till I have 15 posts.
Going back to the original topic, I read the Thrawn Trilogy in junior high, before I met any of you guys. It was very good, and a believable follow up to the original movies. Sometimes I wish Lucas had just taken this series and gone forward in time with movies instead of the 3-crap pile-up of prequels that came out as a result. |

It's for your own good. The last thing we want is spam bots posting links or images of the type that could get you fired when you had no intention of viewing it.
Before Teh Tech Monkies instituted our current system (which is working great), I had a close call while just browsing the forums. I was fast with the delete button, but it's something I rather not have to deal with. _________________ "Addiction can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed."

Sorry to be the resident "I-crap-all-over-anything-Lucas-does-now" guy, but he would've ruined those too. _________________ Conan! What is best in life?
