Working 100% are they?......*rolls up sleeves* We'll see about that!!

*sets about destruct testing the back end, the slightly shaking shadow of James looming over him*

Seriously though, you can thank James and Steve for scrambling to decompile and repair the whole thing. They sat down and put in a good solid run and got things going again.

I think the fact that they had the amount of space our site was taking incorrect.... that is what was messing things up. Once you got that corrected... it is all god... not to mention the stuff that I did fix Razz

Yes! Yino gets it. When faced with words which make no sense, but in the end the thing you wanted is yours (in this case, the forums working properly), just smile, nod, and go about your day Smile

Hooray for forums! I will sing the praises of the Tech Monkeys and shower them with lovely women and bananas!

*Some restrictions may apply. Women not available in all areas. Please consult your doctor before taking banana showers.

Hmm, why am I now getting a password prompt to login to something like ftp.squishycomics. com? and then a 503 "password incorrect" thing when I hit 'cancel'?

*confuzzled*

It's not some sort of "Steal Legit Member's Login Info" dealie from non-Squishy sources, is it?

It's not when I'm actually trying to log in or anything, it just seemed to pop up shortly after I started browsing the forums. I think it came up about twice, then hasn't since then.

There, it happened again! I screencapped it, but I don't think I can stick an image right in the message from my computer. I'd have to upload it somewhere first, right?

Here's what it looks like:
The heading on the popup box says "Authentication Required"
Then in the box it says "Enter username and password for ftp:\\ftp.squishycomics.c0m", (switch the // around and make the 0 an o since I can't post links as-is) gives me the blanks for name and password, and the little checkbox option at the bottom to "Use password manager to remember this password" and then the little "Ok" and "Cancel" buttons.

When I hit cancel, the popup box comes up with the heading "Alert" and the contents "530 login incorrect." and an "Ok" button.

Yes, you would.

I got it a few times too. For some reason the page was asking me to log into the ftp. Probably a page bug. I actually have a ftp log in, but it shouldn't be asking me for it.
