No, Celo knew James, Dan, and myself in ERHS. He was in a lot of our classes.

i think he meant "thunder and lightning" as opposed to "gamesandcards.com," in context of where we met

Thanks for clearing that up Dave.

Yeah HS was kinda weird. I thinking back I kinda laugh about all the stuff that went on and how we all acted from it. ( Meaning things that we did and knew of)

I met Arturo and Dave (and maybe other peoples? I can't remember, was a long time ago) on discworld MUD. They left, but I'm still playing, and since I burned out my grind switch, I can't play another MMORPG again ever.

I've tried, really! I played WoW for about 3 months and then said
"So, theoretically I reach level 60 and then... then what?"
"And then you raid" said some
"What do you do when you're raiding?"
"You work through scheduling concerns to get enough people together at the same time to run through a dungeon which is way too hard to kill things that are way too tough in order to find new gear."
"New... gear... and how often does this gear appear?"
"Oh, you only have to run them about 60 times or so"
"And once you've gotten the gear... then what?"
"... Is this a trick question?"

So I'm still playing the disc. ;p At least I'm comfortable idling in the drum. And occasionally killing obnoxious spam pets with swamp dragons.

You need to play something livelier, with more action and twitch... like Call of Duty 4 for the 360 Wink

It's right up your ally too.

You get to run around with weapons of death, and you can dispense with the killing and the hurting in a variety of ways:

-You can sneaky sneaky up to some poor sod and knife him in the kidney/neck/lung/etc.

-You can relieve someone of their life from many yards away using a Snipering Rifle.

-You can get up close and personal and pump folk full of lead with a shotgun or SMG.

-There's the standard, all purpose riddling with bullets using assault rifles.

-OR, and this is my personal fave unloading a full belt of bullets from your Light Machine Gun into a house where your prey THINKS they're safe, only to find that your bullets goes through drywall almost as easy as it does their beloved gray matter.

-... then there's the boom boom explosives...

-And the raining of fiery death from above calling in air strikes...

-And HELICHOPPERS!!!

Play! Now! The Call of Duty beckons to you!

(this message is, in context, directed at Kodi. However, anyone reading this message can assume that it's directed at them, so they too should pick up Call of Duty 4 for the 360).

Brain's a little foggy but I think this is how it went...

I met Dave first in the 11th grade, as we both ended up having history class together. Then when we got wind of an RPG club at school (I think it was called The Realm, or something like that), and that's where I met Dan, and I think James. The rest of the guys I met when we started hanging out at Thunder & Lightning with the growing popularity of MTG and L5R card games (plus we sometimes tried to run games there).

Wow, a name I don't know... freaky.

And yeah, Charlie Fuego is right... Thunder and Lightning was the OG shit... Gamesandcards.com was some fuckin weak shit... and fuck the shirts we had to wear there... Thank God for Tommy's across the street so I could ruin a lot of 'em.

I remember back in the Card Sharks days... freaky.

Anyways.... since the card store was mentioned...

Red + Monks + Speeders = MTG/L5R/SWCCG domination... c/o Mike....

Pffft, whaaat? If you consider idling playing, then I still play on Discworld;p
And I'd hardly say your "Grind Bug" is dead considering we play PSO together;p

=====
Uhuh, huh huh, huh... she said "grind", huh, uhuh huh.

I remember those days. I have to say that my reason for ditching Discworld was the fact that everyone I knew wasn't playing anymore, and if they were, then I totally missed them long enough to think they were gone.

That and I was essentially told I couldn't play my way by the newly implemented rules at the time.
